Singapore's Lee fighting nerve disease
Just read the news from Yahoo. Best wishes and Get well soon!
Read some negative comments from the yahoo comments. It showed the lack of the ability to focus on the topics on which they have differences in views vis-a-vis personal attacks. So sad..

Singapore : Employers urged to prepare for re-employment law
Employers urged to prepare for re-employment law. This is a great news as many who has passed the retirement age is still able to contribute meaningfully in an organization.
My ex-boss has retired but during the financial crisis in 2009, my company has requested him to come out of retireent and help to stabilize the business. After the business is back on track, he finally retires again this year. He is 68 years of age. Many aged person are full of experience and wisdom.
A good move!

Yahoo News & reaction
Every time I read the yahoo news and the various comments, I can see lots of anger and resentment in the column. Why is there a gap between the people and the government? Has the people desires changed? Do we need a new method of management? Sensitive topic....
Perhaps those in the government will need to see how can they make these people undestands. I remember my University lecturer used to say that people born from the 1950s, 60s, 70s were like lalang grass and all you need is the parang techniques to trim them into shape. Those younger ones fom the 1980s, 90s etc are like the carpet grass, where trimming require delicate handling. Different generation sees things differently and requires new dimensional approach..

Mediacorp
Singapore only tv station has not been progressing. One of the key problem is it's failure to retain talents. The station has been using the same method of production, no talent management and lack of creativity for so many years. Previously, when there was another competitor, there was some form of improvement.
For examples,
1. Jeff Wang : went back to Taiwan
2. 音乐人李毅与艺人淳于珊珊 回归中国发展
